Sapphire

Kerr's birth stone.

"A maiden born when autumn leaves
Are rustling in September's breeze,
A Sapphire on her brow should bind;
To bring her joy and peace of mind."


Mum and Dad were having a clear out and mum found this sapphire ring which used to belong to an old Aunt of hers. She very kindly gave it to me today as I had mentioned about sapphire being Kerr's birthstone. I plan to get it changed into a more modern / practical setting at some point - it's a bit of a knuckle duster at present!
