Greenwich Market
My friends and I had a great time today. We started the day with Martha's delicious blueberry pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup. Yum!
Then we went to Greenwich Market, which was shopping heaven! If only I had the money to spend right now... Gorgeous handcrafted bags, beautiful hats, amazing jewellery, delicious food and drink... We chatted with a lovely stall holder selling vegan cupcakes. Martha and Helen both bought one and they looked amazing!
After Greenwich Market we went to Cafe Rouge for lunch. Martha and Helen had moules, Catherine had a tart and I had demi poulet :-)
We then went to Spitalfields to visit a kind of museum, although more like a time capsule to be honest. Dennis Severs' House at 18 Folgate Street. What an experience! I'll defintely go again one day.
We then had a drink at The Ten Bells Public House, famous for it's connection to Jack the Ripper, as two of his victims drank and plied their trade there!
Then we came home on the train. What a busy day! Thanks for having us to stay, Martha :-)
My blip shows the lady at Greenwich Market selling those cupcakes. She's called Ms Cupcake!
