Shoveling The Roof
Our house was built in the 1950s and was designed with a roof not suitable for Michigan winters (not steep enough). We have one area prone to leakage (my office) when the ice builds up and a heat tape is placed there on the roof to help to alleviate the problem.
Roy has a snow rake, which reaches to the roof from the ground, to remove accumulated snow but can't use it where the heat tape is located. So Roy-on-the-roof is today's blip.
There are a few other photos of the action here on flickr.
