White-winged Dove

The White-winged Dove migrates into Mexico, however, this year some elected to spend the winter at my home, about 45 miles from the Mexico border. These doves have the most beautiful eyes and they appear to have used eye liner. This guy is sitting in a Palo Verde Tree calling his mate.
The Palo Verde trees are green, in Spanish meaning (Palo, tree and Verde, green) They have terrible thorns as most plants do in our desert.
