My Norwegian Friend

Just back from a group holiday around India & Nepal.

On the last day, at dinner, Solga, from Norway, produced a bag of knitted figures which she had been making as we went along. There was one for each of us, as a souvenir/thank you for being good travel companions. How lovely is that!

To be honest, I had seen that she was making them and rather hoped they were for us. I had my eye on this little fellow cos I reckon he looked nonchalant and very Scandanavian. And I just had to photograph him alongside 'Everest'. Pretty much every commercial product from Nepal is called Everest. Wonder why.
