I'll let you judge its brilliance and whether I've properly delivered on yesterday's promise, but for what it's worth, I love this shot. ;)

While driving slowly about and looking for viable parking, I eyed this longingly from the passenger's side, the most rusted, ragged of the day's offerings and my absolute favorite. I was drawn to the colors and patterns and the worn and almost taunting text that seems completely unwilling to give up its stories, but winks as if to say "...maybe."

***Note: Has anyone else had problems with photos looking too-sharp on Blip? When I uploaded this, it didn't look nearly as sharp as it appears here. Hm.
