First portrait...

This is my friend Fiona, and my first portrait! Out for lunch today, and thought maybe I'd try a portrait shot! Must say, it's not my normal choice of shot...portraits are so difficult, so I tend to stick with landscapes, macros, or nature shots (not that they're much easier!!). So glad I took this though, as it was the best of all my shots today!!! Huge thanks Fiona...and it was good to catch up over a delicious lunch!!! :-))

P.S Have tried to crop this and get rid of those lights...but Blip edit will not work!! You'll just have to stay in the spotlight Fiona!!!!




Can I also add that my heart and prays go out to all those affected by the terrible events in NZ today. I have a nephew out in Timaru, and what I've heard and seen on TV is just so sad....
