New Bin

Right, Dexter, Tiggy, Felix, Pebbles and Smudge (in decreasing order of obsession with the kitchen bin), this one has a LOCK on it! I sincerely hope that the days when I walk back into the house to find the contents of the kitchen bin strewn all over the floor are over!

It has been our intention to look for a new kitchen bin for some time now, since THEMSELVES are easily able to get into the old one. Therefore, this morning, I spent some considerable time on the interwebs searching for something lockable, that they wouldn't be able to get into. It's certainly worth a try, and it's rather nice to buy something new for the house (which I hardly ever do) in any case!

In fact, it's even better than "buying" because Argos stock this particular bin, and they take Nectar points, so I hardly had to part with any money for it, just a few shillings to make up the balance, which makes it even nicer!

We'll see what they make of it! Felix is exceedingly strong, Tiggy exceedingly wriggly and Dexter exceedingly persistent! Hmm!

Other than that, I did various other jobs in town, went to see the lady who is "helping me to look for a job" and updated her (she was very very excited, almost to the point of tears), then did a big shop to replace stores that have run down recently.
