Messy Anemone

Another emergency blip tonight. Good job I have a varied collection of flowers to hand although this one isn't exactly pristine!

A lazy blip too - rather than concentrating too much on the lighting I opted to blast the background with one light, a gentle application of light on the flower and then adjusted the contrast on the pc. It works quite well - all I've done is a curves adjustment, crop, resize and sharpen.

Now just an hour to go until there is something on the box to watch - not sure what as I can never remember what is on which day but I know it'll be CSI something or other. I've spent a good chunk of the evening hunting down my collection of step up/down rings to find I don't have one the size I need.

I have a 'new' old Soligor Ringlight which was given to me and alas it must be a 52mm thread as it certainly doesn't fit my 55mm lenses. Ho hum - I guess I'll be shuffling off into town tomorrow in the hope I can find a suitable ring!
