Solitude

This is the footbridge that leads across into Aberlady Nature Reserve which is (relatively) close to my work...well close enough to go for a quick visit at a lunchtime. The only problem is that I just have enough time to get there and back. As soon as I walk across to the other side of the bridge the solitude and mournful calls of the Curlews grabs hold of me and I just want to wander off across the reserve for the rest of the day and lose myself in it all......but being a dutiful sort of guy I turn around and head back to work.....one day maybe I won't turn back.
