Hope
I raced out of work and down into the centre of town this evening to get to the 11th floor of a multi-story car park that I thought would give me a good quick opportunity for a decent night shot of the rooftops of Belfast, but I was defeated by the brighter evening! Too bright for a decent exposure shot. Something for a later Blip at some stage.
I was in a hurry as this is the evening for The Board Meeting (#theboardmeeting is the Twitter hashtag) which is a board game forum. It's a lot of fun playing new and old, but always interesting board games brought back from toy fairs by Rory O'Connor, inventor of Rory's Story Cubes. Tonight we played Basilica, a great game of strategy which had an exciting finish.
Anyhow, the tenuous link to my Blip is that the meeting is held in the Hope Cafe at Queen's University and this lettering, hanging from the ceiling is a major feature of the cafe.
