The Flying Duck

1. Finishing work and trying to find a quiet place for a drink. Walking through the Tine Tempah queue at the ABC twice and realising that I'm too old to understand what the people waiting were wearing, why they are lined up round the corner in the rain and who they are going to see. Then stumbling on the Gutter Magazine launch and feeling much the same. Sometimes it's good to avoid the tribe even when you do understand.

2. Making it safely to the Flying Duck and settling in for a pint and a blether before art class. This is Colin and a mooing horse (my drawings were all a bit full frontal to make the blip tonight).

3. There seems to be a staccato pace in life this week. Things are pretty busy, moving quickly. It's good when it's like this. What's even better is taking some time to find a week to take off - a cottage somewhere to go and hang out. Somewhere by the sea.

4. Another week, another baby. This week the overdue bundle belongs to two friends from school. Come on baby Daniel, there's a Guns n Roses baby grow with your name on it.

5. Eating out six meals out of the last seven all I want is digestive biscuits with butter and cheese for supper.
