A heavy storm coming in

Woken by hammering rain and the shaking of the campervan, it soon became clear that there would be no cruise today. We spent most of the day in the boat terminal writing postcards and following the weather and road condition updates. Finally, we decided to wait for another cruise opportunity tomorrow and not to join the convoy back to Te Anau on the temporarily opened road. Let's hope they manage to open the road again tomorrow.
