Tongariro Crossing

Today we eventually did it - one of the most popular tracks in New Zealand. We took the earliest shuttle at 6 in the morning to get ahead of the masses and the heat. In the end, it did not get very hot but very windy - so much that we had to struggle to keep on the path on the side track to Mt. Tongariro.
