Impressions of Tulips

I've been a bit of a slacker when it come's to Blips recently so thought I should post something... anything!

The 5th of February was a very lucky day for many reasons I'm not going to go into now, but one of the nicest things was walking into Tesco just as they were reducing the prices on their flowers. This meant that I had the perfect excuse to sqander the princely sum of 30p on a bunch of tulips to take photos of, and got some lovely roses for my mum. Bargain!

Mum loved her flowers, and although most of the pics didn't quite work (this was down to not having the time to light them properly!) I still liked getting an impression of my tulips to keep me going until they start appearing in the garden.

It's the simple things in life that make us happy.
