The Wee Hoose
The Wee Hoose is situated in Dysart harbour wall.
In case you are wondering, all I have done here is to blue out and slightly blur part of the cliff face.
The back wall of Dysart Harbour, Fife, Scotland; has been quarried out of sandstone bedrock and forms an almost smooth wall. In places weathering has produced hollows and cavities in the face. These have been neatly bricked over though whether the reason is to reduce further erosion, or to prevent birds from nesting there, I have no idea. There are several such areas, some with gaps to allow drainage, but all in this high-temperature fired brickwork that has been artistically placed in the cliff.
