Lisa and Hunter
In trying to maintain the places of worship theme I went to a hospital chapel for a blip. Unfortunately, the moment was wrong; it did not seem appropriate to take a picture of grief stricken relatives of patients... and so i moved on. On the way to the car park I encountered these two individuals.
Hunter is a dog born to run and hunt: he is in fact a very large greyhound. However he has found his mission in visiting hospitals to offer comfort and succour to the sick. His friendly and loving demeanour makes him a hit with patients whose mood and general outlook is lifted by his presence and his willingness to be petted: he seems to love human company.
It seemed strange that in moving from a place of worship occupied by humans I would find some spirituality in a doggy encounter with Hunter. Not sure what the lesson is.
Lisa his handler was lovely.
