Cleaning Lady
Another work day, another training course. This time for a new in-house system, which no-one thinks is fit for purpose. It was no suprise then when it crashed about 10 minutes into the course, and by lunchtime, we had still achieved nothing. When it was cancelled, I decided to take a half day and head home rather than go back to the office. It was a nice morning when I left the house and walked to the train station, so I was very surprised to find that when I arrived in Glasgow, after the 20 minute train journey, it was sleet/snowing and flooding drains everywhere! Typical Scotland.
In the afternoon, we took H's Daddy's car to a garage to have the engine fault mended, and stopped into Mothercare for a couple of things. H amused us by running around the toy section, and sweeping the floor for ages with a toy brush. She certainly hasn't learned that from me!!
We also bought her a potty as although she is too young for training, we do give her quite a bit of nappy free time so thought it wouldn't do any harm to have one around. We also bought a step stool from Argos to allow her to get nearer the sink for washing her hands. However, even with that, she is still too short!
