Souvenirs

As an expatriate, I like to surround myself with reminders and tokens of life "back home." These pots are typical in color and design of my region of France, Alsace.

Most of the time, they just sit there on my corner cabinet, accumulating dust. Today, somehow, they caught my eye again.

All that's missing to complete the picture is a nice glass of Gewurtztraminer (vendanges tardives, of course) and a slice of home-made kugelhopf. Must plan a vacay home soon.
