Going off track

Today began (an hour after I got up) with a breathtaking sunrise. It could be my 'older' age but sunrises seem to bring me comfort and calm. I realised, as I stopped to watch the bright red sun come up over Berlin, that this week I haven't been very appreciative of all the wonderful people and parts of my life. I Feel like I just blundered through monday and tuesday, unsettled and ungrateful. But a simple sunrise, something that happens everyday, brought me back to earth;-)

I forgot to put my battery in my camera this morning so it made the sunrise even more special when I realised there was no way of documenting it.... is that anti-blip??!! ;-)

Anyway, I was trying to get a pic of my ear here, they both FROZE and BURNED on my ride home! But the photo turned out like this, and for someone who never liked her facial profile, I am happy this is me.
