I have never really considered myself much of a sun-worshiper but the grayness this town's skies exudes can be so dismally heavy sometimes. I had no idea Fort Worth was so damned bleak all the time. And lately this absence of color has added to a weightiness I have been lugging around. But enough of that--life is actually quite grand.
But while doing the laundry this afternoon, I noted a little spot of color (pun intended?) and had to take a shot. The way that the soap fizzed around the borders of our bright threads seemed to usher in some ample light into the day.
Picked up a few things for a special dinner for us tonight. Shh, it's a surprise.
