Cattails aglow

Cattails or, if you prefer, bullrushes grow all around here. It seems every ditch has some. I like them. They are thick and brown and fuzzy. They remind me of Dutch croquettes only on a stick. Edward says they make great torches when soaked in some flammable liquid. The bullrushes, that is, not croquettes. :-)
