Gnarly tree

I loved that the sun was shining today and the blue sky provided the perfect backdrop for this gnarly old tree. I always feel a bit sad when I see this tree and it's friends as they used to form a beautiful tree-lined avenue but now they've been chopped down and don't look half as impressive as they once did.
