We're going on a train ride...

Two Scottish men were flown in to visit my Scottish man today, and so I and the kids took the train to go and see my mum. Feeling adventurous, I dared booking the faster connection (taking 4 hours instead of 5, but with one changeover in Hannover), and it was the right decision. Two 2-hour journeys are much better than one 5 hour long... Sam got transported by rucksack (boy, the boy is heavy), and we managed the whole thing pretty well. No wonder since there was a climbing frame in the family compartment of the first train!
