The angel of Rudston

To Rudston on the Yorkshire Wolds today, to see the neolithic monolith which is sited, oddly, in the village churchyard. But this angel on a grave caught my eye just as much, a fine example of the Victorian stonemason's skills.

It was a truly Spring-like day, which was so uplifting as we put the harsh winter behind us.

Camera geek word... this was shot with my Samsung NX100, quite possibly the poor man's Fuji X100, which is verrry nice. And four times the price! Look forward to playing with one at the Focus on Imaging show at least.
