2045 My Daughter and my god daughter said "can we get the Karaoke machine out"

They sing pleasantly for 15 to 20 minutes, then they make the fatal mistake,

"we want the adults to have a go too"

The adults consent grudgingly and with a degree of bashfulness to begin with, but actually its now 2100 and the wine has been opened.

2125 We are now in full swing its "Delilah", "Fame" and other awful awful songs that you can't believe you are even contemplating singing.

2130 We notice the children are no longer around, they appear to have drifted off to bed with the shame and embarrassment following them closely behind.

2149 (now) We are thinking of inviting the neighbours around as it might stop them reporting us to the police , i have lost the ability to type and the strains of " Valerie" are squealing and being contorted in torture from the sun room, and i'm going as its my go , i think its the scissor sisters,
