Betws-y-Coed
Had a lovely run out today to the above place, as the weather was passable. Betws-y-Coed is North Wales' most popular inland resort. Much of it was built in Victorian times and it is the principle village of Snowdonia National Park.
It has a wonderful setting, surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountains. The beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, lakes, river pools and ancient bridges- one of which I was standing on to take this shot!!
( End of travelogue!!)
