I am number 4....

Went to the movies tonight with the family. Went to see 'I am number 4'. It was very entertaining, and well worth seeing. We all enjoyed it...apparently as much as the other three liked my popcorn!

Earlier this week, as I've worked through half term, and Dom is doing his course-related work experience anyway, we took the kids to see 'Paul', the latest Simon Pegg/Nick Frost movie one evening. Funny, light-hearted, and with lots of nerdy sci-fi references. Have to say though, I thought the movie tonight was much better value for money, and definitely more entertaining.

Alex Pettyfer was very nice in the eye candy stakes, albeit young enough to be my son. Being called a cougar by my daughter wasn't entirely expected, but what can I say?? If the shoe fits....

Anyway, changing the subject, when the film ended a nerd man behind me said to his companions 'Well that was NOTHING like the book'. It has left me slightly intrigued....so Talli is going to have to hurry up and read the book, which I bought her a couple of weeks ago and which she hasn't started yet, so I can find out whether nerdman spoke the truth.
