Coming together

Today's return to work was as hectic as expected - left office late this evening with an announcement and media call planned for tomorrow and a couple more things for early next week.

Meanwhile, with two separate three-figure insurance excesses due on home roof repairs and cancelled holiday, and about £800 worth of car engine repairs, February continues to exact a heavy toll on my wallet - now the plumber says the kitchen mixer tap can't be fixed and needs replaced!!

Still, Orlyn continues to brighten up our days. Tonight she came running into the kitchen, with a beaming smile, inviting us to 'come and look' (without telling us what it was). And, so, she had completed a jigsaw. We'd maybe done it with her two or three times in the last few weeks, but now she'd done it herself - and was pretty sure we should be pleased about it, which we were of course.
