In a World That has Gone to the Dogs...

... sometimes I feel like I'm a fire hydrant.

It's my birthday today but I'm keeping it very low key. Everybody is busy or broke and, frankly, I'm just not into making a big deal about it anymore.

It's nice to get a few cards in the mail and a flurry of greetings from my Facebook friends, but other than that, I just actually prefer the peace quiet.

Bonnie and I took a nice long walk today and she made no mention of it at all.

We're both getting old I guess...
