Anhinga

Other blippers lie on their tummies in mud, wet grass, snow, and worse.... Now I can join their ranks ;-0

This Anhinga perches on this pipe every morning, surveying the little kingdom of the lake. I've tried and tried to catch him/her, but until this morning, no luck. Rootled through my drawer of old clothes for gardening and other dirty household chores, put on the worst of the lot, and bellied my way across the damp grass, just about holding my breath. Was it worth the crawl?? I think so .......

I definitely am wanting a better camera and more zoom, though!!
