Riverside Rubbish

Whilst following the cycle path along the River Avon towards Lacock from Chippenham, I was disgusted by the amount of rubbish and litter which gets dropped and washed up on the bank. Most of the litter is extremely ugly. It was a fairly dull day and I wasn't confident I was going to find anything to photograph when I stumbled across this bike; it must have been washed when the river was running high - unlike all the other rubbish I'd seen which stood out like a sore thumb, this bike seem to blend in well to its surroundings and looked quite at home. Although the bike was extremely weathered it was still complete and still had a shopping basket and rear pannier attached - this would have been a lovely bike once upon a time and somebody's pride and joy.
