Cup

Popped into the Museum of Scotland on my way to get the bus to the airport. Took a few photos without a flash and some came out a bit blurry. Liked this one so it's my Blip. It's the inside of a communal drinking cup called the Bute Mazer. Apparently it is associated with Robert the Bruce. The lion in the centre represents the king and the shields his main supporters.

One day I might get to be a tourist in Edinburgh rather than be there for work. Feels weird that I was in Edinburgh till 7 and now I am back in Portsmouth.
