Kerrs Reach

This morning A Canterbury Tail was kind enough to take me out on the water for my first paddle in a "real" kayak. The kayaks we own are the "sit on" type - purely recreational. Canterbury got me out in a white water kayak today. Thanks to Barking too, for lending me the kayak.

I arrived early and took this shot of the rower while waiting. As you can see from the intense white water, it's certainly the right place for a beginner.

Now of course the problem is I want a new kayak!
