John Prendergast and the Darfur Dream Team

So, not the best image, but a very neat event. Pitt's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and the Ford Institute hosted human rights activist John Predergast and screened his film, 3 Points with NBA player Tracy McGrady. Prendergast advocates for peace, support and justices for victims of the genicides occuring in the Darfur region of Sudan, Africa. Violence erupted in 2003 and still continues today.

Predergast and his Dream Team of athletes and entertainers are raising awareness of the violence and helping to build schools in the refugee camps in neighboring Chad.
