Serendipity Arts Cafe

This is the view from the Serendipity Arts Cafe, where I like to stop off for a meal on Saturday evenings to fortify myself for the 3-hour bus ride back to Colombo.

I am sitting here now, listening to the prayer call from the Galle Fort mosque, the sound of the rain, which has just started, and the sound of the geckoes calling to each other from the beams. Just heard some thunder too. It's getting dark.

Up here on the rooftop level, I can see this on my left, and if I look down, the street below, and on my right I can just see the sea. I am reclining on a long sofa seat, which runs along the elbow-height wall.

I had Thai Green Curry with coconut rice, and a coke. Now I am ready to jump on the bus.
