Water World

Once again, rain in Sussex.
I know plenty of people have blipped raindrops but I wanted to put a rather dismal point of view across in image and words.

a drop
in the ocean
of the world

drops of the ocean
fall on land
waters enchroaching
inland becoming
less defined
land falling into the sea
falling prey
to the waves
pray to the waves
for clemency
failing sea currents
rising tides
of current feeling
indifference

my drop
of life makes
little difference
to the currents
of thought
my world
in a raindrop
in whorls
of colour
runs down
the panes of windows
the pain
of a breaking world
enclosed
in a drop of water
