Cod & Lobster = Heaven

Not only does this Blip give a flavour of Staithes, it also features a real treasure - The Cod & Lobster.

Just a few steps away from where we stayed, this is everything you would want from a local. Friendly staff, Timothy Taylors Landlord on tap, a very good quiz night on Wednesdays (in aid of the RNLI) and I haven't mentioned the food yet!

On the quiz night it was free supper, sandwiches and chips, which went down very well. On Friday Rebecca had the Steak Pie, which looked and tasted delicious, and I had the special, the Rump Steak. I asked for it rare and it was cooked perfectly.

To top it all the atmosphere in the bar is like a large living room where you are in the middle of a great party. What more could you ask for?
