Canada Geese near Carron Dam

That rare event, a sunny afternoon happened so we grabbed the camera and jumped in the car. Since we hadn't been up the Fintry road for a long time, we took that in the hope of finding something interesting. Just past the main Carron dam, Mag spotted some Canada geese grazing next to a few highland cattle; tried to get a decent shot of the geese and the cattle together but they just wouldn't co-operate. We only managed a couple of shots and the beggars took to their wings.
The Denny - Fintry road is in a shocking state after the hard winter with a very badly scarred surface and numerous serious potholes. Care essential!
