A Stroll in the Rain

Its been a while since we visited the river. Slack Tide was the title of the last shot of the Stour, way back at the end of October.

Today has been wet, with brief periods of damp and comprehensively grey. This shot of a pair of mute swans gliding past nearly made the final cut, but then I set about playing with three exposures of the above scene with HDRtist and frankly, I can't resist a thoroughly messed about with image.

It was taken looking east towards the docks at Harwich and before long, it was time to jump up and down in muddy puddles!
