Little Moreton hall

Mrs Wild chose today's outing. She wanted to visit Rode Hall to see the snow drops but as it didn't open til 12noon so we visited Little Moreton Hall, Cheshire, 1st. It has to be the best Tudor Black and white (cream) building in the UK. It is a moated hall and there is not piece of woodwork, door , window frame, floor that is level due the building having sunk over the 500 odd years it has been in existence. I took lots of detailed shots of the woodwork and carvings but it doesn't truly reflect the grandeur of the building. If you are ever near here pay it a visit as it is well worth it. Snowdrops at Rode Hall which is 5mins away weren't half bad either.
