Bath time
Under the fir trees it is now dry enough to take a real good bath. Beautiful sun all day. Given it should snow &/or rain tonight, I was banned to the garden to start trying to get things under control again. However a tip for all gardeners thinking of keeping chickens - don't! I don't know how I managed to put the spade in the ground without beheading one of the 21 helping beaks. Well I guess tomorrows eggs will be particularly protein rich and there are loads of replacement worms in the horse muck heap. We "breed" a particular type of worm called "Eisenia foetida" or more commonly manure worm. You can also buy them as "Tennessee Wiggler" worms (sounds better value for money) for 40 Euros/1000.
