A Day at the Opera...

I was taken to a Matinee performance of Iphigénie en Tauride at the Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center here in NYC. I have never been to the Opera here, it's either too pricey or I don't have any friends who are interested...but this time I was happily accompanied by a rather distinguished gentleman ;)

Snapped this on the way out. There was a whole lot of "Old New York Money" present... wrapped up in fur. I could not resist this lengthy purple number.
