An enormous person!
Up at 5.30am this morning for a call out to power lines sparking. They were across a four lane road and hadn't broken but were sparking with loud bangs every now and then. It was drizzling with rain so that didn't help! There wasn't much we could do but make sure people didn't park underneath it and wait for the power company. We didn't get back into station until nearly 7am so there was no going back to bed!!
I went straight from work into the city to have a blood test (which was fine) and then home so that Cheryl (Kaz's Mum) could go home after looking after Spence for the last two nights.
I was feeling really tired but we went and visited Robyn and Dave and dropped off an invitation to Spencer's party and stayed there for a while. Then had lunch then when Spence had his sleep, I got into bed too! We slept from about 2 until 4.30! I must have been in such a deep sleep because I woke up to Spence yelling out 'Mummy, I'm awake now!' and I looked at the clock and saw it was 4.37 but it took me a bit to think of where I was, whether it was in the middle of the night of the afternoon, and what was going on!!
We got up and went and delivered three more invitations then came home and it was tea time! We were dropping off an invitation to my friend Jess and Spence was having a chat to her. He said 'I'm two and I'm nearly three, and I will grow bigger and bigger and bigger. And then I will be an enormous person'!! It was very funny!!
I went out into the garden looking for a blip in the nearly dark! I came across this group of snails in the vegie garden!
We are off early tomorrow morning into the city again for a scan then driving down to Toora to visit a good friend of mine, Andy, who I went to primary and high school with and has a three month old baby, Lilja. Her and her partner, Jon, live in England now so we hardly get to see them! It will be great to catch up!
