I collect "Car numbers"

W  a  y  back in the hists of mistory, we kids used to "Collect car numbers".
There so few around then on had time to see an individual car and write its registration number down.

Times change, but some of us never manage to grow up. HEHEHE!

It's only a touch more sophisticated, inasmuch as I now photograph them (I suppose "Snap" would be a more accurate description.) and only ones which tickle my fancy, like
B10 HAY : B16 EGG : V 25 FRY etc.

I think my ALL TIME favourite  must be "UP U 51R"

A very few actually spell the owner's name. There actually is a man who's surname is ... ... BOG1E.
and another "Dutch" surname ... ... N 1 EDT.
