When all else fails.........

.......go to the beach with a puppy!

I was getting hung up on a few phone calls today when J called to say she and Barney and a few others were going to the beach for a walk.........so I took the opportunity to quit the worrying and get some fresh air coursing through the lungs.

Just what the doctor ordered :)

Whilst stories of survival and spirit continue to flow out of Christchurch, the optimism is fading for those not yet rescued, and the sadness......anger.....desolation begins to rise more to the surface.

It somehow doesn't feel quite fair that life up here is so peaceful, relaxed and easy.

I had an email from hpx today - she's up north with her family who need her right now (and she, them) - she's doing ok although understandably is feeling traumatised by this week's events in Christchurch - she's very appreciative of the support she is receiving from fellow blippers though - she'll be back soon enough.
