It Aint Mull, but.... @bbc_springwatch

Last year we spent a great week in Mull and I was left wondering how I would make up the loss of White-tailled Eagle, Golden Eagle etc etc on my 2011 list.

Whilst the Eagles may take a bit of doing, I needn't have worried about the Divers. Earlier in the year a Black-throated Diver had appeared near "the hide" (winks in LAWRIE'S direction). Then on our last full day on the North Yorkshire Coast, we decided to revisit Runswick Bay.

Just as with MONDAY we weren't disappointed. As well as Fulmar, Great Black Back Gull, Redshank and Oystercatcher, this Red-throated Diver paraded itself just off shore.

A great end to a great holiday; a Year Tick, taking me to 91.
