A happy onion.

My lovely friends Nic and Clare came round for Nic's birthday meal this evening. This little onion played a crucial part in the onion and mushroom flan I made.

(Actually my photo was the other way up which looks like a smiley face, but blip seems to want it to be this way up which doesn't quite so happy or facey. I've tried all sorts of things but it won't stay the other way up, never mind - I'm sure you get the idea!)
