Spirited Away

This is my blip for Missymoo's Challenge this week - Spirit.
Went to Baskett Slough today to shoot birds. Saw several American Coot, four Canada geese, a Pintail couple, a Mallard couple, an American Kestral two Great Blue Herons and a nutria and a nest of little nutrias. Took photos of all. This picture isn't the sharpest one of the bunch but I liked it anyway. The little nutrias sound cute because they are babies, but they just looked like a pile of fur, so it wouldn't have been a very good blip. The big nutria was swimming along with a few coots, he stopped, got on shore, scratched his itch, then got back in the water and swam on. Funny. It was very windy and somewhat rainy too, so we weren't there very long. Still I thought I got quite a few shots. Just wish this heron had waited a moment more for the focus!
