Long way from Home

Strolling through the park watching the Sunday model boaters this fine craft caught my eye not least because the San Jose Sharks ice hockey team had their home games in Cow Palace, a converted stockyard just near my sister-in-laws,in San Fran, it is huge, and why the name, built in the depressed 30's a local paper asked 'in these hard times why are we building a 'palace' for cows!'
